Apple pie bliss balls
Ingredients
- 2 red apple fresh, pink lady, unpeeled
3 cup rolled oats uncooked, plain, unfortified
2 tsp cinnamon- 1 cup Medjool Whole Fresh Dates
- 0.5 cup Sultanas plain
4 tbsp Chia Seeds
Instructions
- 1.Chop the apples, leaving the skin and blitz all the ingredients together until completely combined in food processor.
- 2.Pop the mixture into a bowl and place in the freezer to firm up. You don’t want it frozen, just firm enough so you can roll them.
- 3.Roll into generous teaspoon sized balls and place in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container. Using disposable gloves helps with ease of sticking on hands!
- 4.1 serve = 2 balls (tsp sized)
- 5.If time is tight, press into loaf pan and cut into slices.
Notes
Gluten-Free
- Swap: Use gluten-free oats or quinoa flakes instead of regular oats.
- Check: All other ingredients (like dried fruit, spices) are usually gluten-free, but double-check labels for cross-contamination.
