Eat well, Live Well

Practical independence in food, cooking and eating — a hands-on program that builds real kitchen skills, not just nutrition advice.

Who it is for

Built for skills, routine and confidence

Eat Well, Live Well is the right fit for NDIS participants when the goal is mostly about learning to plan, shop, cook and eat with less reliance on others and in a way the participant can actually sustain. It’s designed for people with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or limited exposure to independent living skills who want more independence in the kitchen. Support workers are paired into every session so lessons can be practiced between visits.

What makes it different

Skills, not lectures

Almost every session has a hands-on, in-the-kitchen component. The participant does the thing, with us, before they have to do it at home.

16 – 20

sessions across the program

6-9

months, at a fortnightly pace

1:1

sessions in the participant’s home

45-90

minutes per session

The program at a glance

The program runs across three tiers — but the participant only ever sees one session ahead. Tiers are how we plan; sessions are how we work.

Three tiers, one steady build
