Vegetarian satay burgers

  • 4 Vegetarian burger patties
  • 4 multigrain roll
    4 tbsp satay sauce
  • 2 tbsp roasted peanuts unsalted, coarsely chopped
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 50 g alfalfa sprouts
  • 150 g mixed salad leaves


  • Step 1Spray a large non-stick frying pan with olive oil and set over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 2 minutes each side, or until heated through and golden (or as per packet instructions).Step 2Place salad leaves on the base of each roll. Top with 1 patty, satay sauce, peanuts, carrot and alfalfa. Add the top half of the rolls, and serve immediately.
