Breakfast Bean Burrito

  • 1 High fibre wrap e.g. Barley+, Mountain bread, Mission Low GI
  • 0.5 400g can reduced-salt baked beans in tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 125 g cherry tomatoes


  • Combine baked beans and Worcestershire sauce in a small microwave-safe bowl; cover bowl. Place baby spinach, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in another microwave-safe bowl. (Leave bowl uncovered.) Place both bowls in microwave and cook on high for 1 minute; stir baked beans. Cook both bowls for 1 more minute.
  • Spoon spinach, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes across the middle of the wrap, top with baked beans. Fold wrap to cover filling and serve immediately. Can be toasted in a flat sandwich press if you prefer
